Meet Jessica & Emily and their little boy Oakley, who embarked on the exciting journey to turn their dream into reality. Trading their lives in Melbourne for sunny Perth, the couple decided to build their new home in Eden Beach, creating their dream coastal lifestyle.
“We wanted to live a calm, serene lifestyle and this is exactly what we got as soon as we stepped into our new home,” Emily says.
“Getting the keys to our dream home was like Christmas Eve, it was exciting.”
With the ocean only a short stroll away, Jessica and Emily had a clear vision of the aesthetic and ambiance their gorgeous coastal home should have. Building a home that was beautiful, functional, spacious and adaptable to their growing family was important to them:
“As we were planning to grow our family, we wanted our home to have lots of open space, so it could change over the years. With the arrival of our little boy Oakley, we can already see how our home has changed and been adaptable”, the couple says.
Jessica & Emily also wanted seamless connections not only between the kitchen and living room but also between the indoor and outdoor spaces, into their backyard. Their love for entertaining friends and family further emphasised the desire for a seamless flow throughout their home.
“From the design to the décor, our personalities are displayed in our home, and we love it.”
“Our home feels calm, and having the beach so close is a dream come true. Our neighbours have become our family, it’s just lovely to come home and feel so relaxed as soon as you step through the door ”, says Emily.
“I love coming home and having that relief and happiness of being home with my family.”
When selecting their builder, Jessica and Emily were confident that Dale Alcock Homes was the perfect match, and a special encounter further affirmed their decision:
“Early in our build, we were at the football and Dale was actually sitting behind us. We told him we were building a house with him and he already knew who we were, where we were building. It was great to meet him and get some tips and advice from him. We knew we made the right choice.”
