LWP Group has unveiled the design of Ellen Gardens, the new seniors living estate in Ellenbrook, designed to cater for the next generation of over 55s who want to downsize, yet still own their homes.

Designed as an intimate community, Ellen Gardens is located on the corner of The Promenade and Drumpellier Drive, Ellenbrook, with easy access to public transport, shops, medical centres and more.

The 35-home village will be pet friendly, have space for caravan parking in a secure gated community with state-of-the-art technology, that is affordable and has low strata fees.

At the heart of the estate will be a future landscaped park which includes a fenced dog exercise area, a putting green, community garden and rose garden, a play area for children and a pavilion with outdoor kitchen and seating facilities.

LWP Group Managing Director, Brendan Acott said Ellen Gardens will set a new benchmark in seniors living standards.

“The ownership program for Ellen Gardens is unique and will incorporate the latest design and building principles in easy care, independent living homes to cater for West Australians who have an active lifestyle and want their lives to be a bit easier,” Mr Acott said.

“We aim to provide flexibility and choice at our new Ellenbrook over 55s estate.

“Unlike many other over 55s living options, Ellen Gardens will offer owners full control in terms of 100 per cent house and land ownership with no exit fees or deferred management fees when they choose to sell.”

The homes have been designed and will be built by Dale Alcock Projects, who have significant experience in the senior’s living market.

“Thoughtful consideration has been given to each of the home designs to ensure they are functional, designed with lifestyle in mind and packed with significant wow factors to appeal to the future residents of Ellen Gardens,” said Simon Brady, Commercial Manager, Dale Alcock Projects.

“We ensured that all the designs are energy efficient, with a 3KW solar power system included, to ensure energy use is optimised, resulting in significant energy cost savings”.

There will be four standard floorplans available, with two and three-bedroom design options to choose from. All homes will be covered by a 25-year structural warranty and 12-month service warranty.

Ellen Gardens has been developed on behalf of the Ellenbrook Joint Venture, by LWP Group and the homes will be built by Dale Alcock Projects.

It is estimated that homes will be sold as turnkey house and land packages from February 2022, with display homes due to open in Autumn next year.
