Apartment Project Overview
Dale Alcock Projects was approached by this experienced interstate developer to deliver a medium density project on Lealt Street in Ardross. The development, located in Ardross, is ideally situated within walking distance to Garden City Shopping Centre and Applecross Senior High School. This completed apartment project showcases the delivery of two 2 storey townhouses and 8 two-bedroom apartments. The team at Dale Alcock Projects were engaged in a Design and Construct contract which included all turnkey finished items.
The interior design team completed all the internal selections for the developer including fixtures, fittings and all colour choices. The end result was a contemporary style that appealed to a variety of buyers. The developer found the process with the team to be seamless and was ecstatic with the final result.
Project Challenges
The Dale Alcock Projects team is very experienced in this typology. They have extensive knowledge in the apartment sector, hence minimal challenges were experienced during the design and building of this project. The only challenge that was experienced was due to the nature of the site – being located at the end of a cul-de-sac on a small residential street, traffic management practices and parking limitations needed to be managed. The site team was pro-active in engaging and keeping local residents informed to ensure that disruption to the street was kept to a minimum.
With the client being located interstate, communication needed to be conducted via video conferencing. Weekly progress photos were provided to the client, which he greatly appreciated.
Project Highlights
Both the client and real estate agent for the Project were extremely impressed by the quality of finishes in the apartments. With the site presenting well, the real estate agent was able to take potential purchasers through for viewing whilst they were still under construction.
Dale Alcock Projects received positive feedback from all parties involved and made special mention of the internal colours and selections that were made by our team – they were very ‘on trend’. Praise was also given on the high quality of the finish.
