Project Overview

The Terraces 2C was our final stage within Stockland’s medium density enclave, comprising 28 3×2 townhouses designed to meet a number of key market segments including downsizers and young professionals. Located within Stockland’s Calleya Estate, The Terraces was designed to push the boundaries of innovation and deliver small lot product in an outer ring suburb, which is relatively untested in Perth. This precinct is an integral part of this community and represents Stockland’s commitment to building medium density projects in the WA market.

Dale Alcock Projects initially won The Terraces through a competitive tender process, which initially consisted of a 26 x terrace precinct called ‘Visage’ in the Calleya Estate. Following the successful completion of Visage, DAP were awarded the subsequent 3 stages of The Terraces which comprised 97 3×2 townhouses upwards of $25 million in construction value.

  • Stage 2A – 24 terraces
  • Stage 2B – 45 terraces
  • Stage 2C – 28 terraces

Stockland’s decision to partner with DAP was heavily influenced by our team’s demonstrated capability and expertise in this space, as well as our ability to deliver value for money solutions through efficient documentation and leveraging the ABN supply chain. Stockland’s goal was to deliver high quality homes that balanced affordability, quality and lifestyle to meet a number of key market segments such as downsizers, young families and young professionals. A testament to its success, these homes resonated well with purchasers and sold out soon after its release to market.

Project Highlights

The Terraces has become a well-known medium density project in the Perth market and has paved the way for a number of other developers who are now considering delivering terraced product within their estates. This project has received widespread industry praise and has been presented with 5 awards recognising our exemplar achievements in workplace health and safety, affordability, quality & design.

Sod-turning ceremony

To mark the start of work on the 28 new homes in Stage 2C, representatives from Dale Alcock Projects, Stockland and the City of Cockburn recently gathered on site for a traditional sod-turning ceremony.
