Choosing the right family home for your needs is not exactly an easy task. So when the industry experts name the best of the best, it pays to pay attention!

Here at Dale Alcock, we’re stoked to have been honoured with a host of accolades at the 2017 Master Builders Housing Excellence Awards, including two fiercely contested display home categories.

Held at Crown Perth on 25 February, the gala awards dinner was a celebration of Perth’s best residential builders.

And that means you’ve got a lot to celebrate too. We’ve always said you can rely on Dale’s for pure quality family homes – and the judges agree!

Here are our two big family display home winners.

St Ali II

Award: Best Display Home $295,000 – $315,000

For our chic new display home in Baldivis, we’ve tailored one of our top three best-selling homes

The result is the St Ali II – a large four-bedroom, two-bathroom home with all the appeal, family-sized spaces and wow-factor features of the original St Ali, tailored to fit onto 15m-wide blocks that are a little shorter than standard.

All the features of the original St Ali design are there, including the columnless corner that turns the kitchen, living room, dining room and alfresco into one large, seamless indoor/outdoor space.

Several other designer options include a sunken floor in the master suite and adding glass sliding doors and a feature ceiling to the theatre room.

However, while these are great design features, we know it’s the space and zoning that makes the St Ali II such a winner, just like its predecessor.

Ginsberg I

Award: Best Display Home $315,000 – $350,000

With its raking ceilings, super-stylish kitchen and voluminous living spaces, the Ginsberg brings a touch of Greenwich Village cool to today’s slimmer homesites.

Inspired by the sought-after loft apartments in ‘The Village’ on the west side of Lower Manhattan in New York City, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom family home is perfect for creating a sense of space on a 12.5m-wide lot.

Standout features include a large kitchen packed with storage and plenty of bench space. A bank of sliding doors opens the dining room up to the alfresco, designed to feel like a natural extension of the home, while a large multi-purpose room will keep up with your family’s changing needs.

You’re on a winner with Dale’s

It wasn’t just the Ginsberg I and St Ali II getting praised.

Our Archipelago III display in Alkimos, the Malay I in Clarkson and the Aston I in Woodvale were all named as finalists for Best Display Home honours. Two Dale’s contract homes also made the list of award finalists on the night, along with three Dale’s home improvement projects.

Cameron Lade, General Manager of Dale Alcock Homes, said the Master Builders Awards, which attracted more than 500 entries from across the home building industry, were particularly coveted as they focus on building excellence and quality of workmanship.

“At Dale’s we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality homes, so are delighted for our strengths to have been recognised once again by the Master Builders judges,” Mr Lade said.
