“European touch to entertainment hub”

West Australian, New Homes, 5th December 2009

At the heart of Dale Alcock’s new Amari display home in Wanneroo is a multi-purpose sunken home theatre room which, along with an integrated alfresco area, makes this home perfect for entertaining. There are plenty of extras in the Amari, including a computer nook for the children and a home office next to the main suite.

Managing Director Dale Alcock said the Amari blended European contemporary styling with the needs of a modern family who loved to entertain.

From the outset the Amari promised something different, Mr Alcock said.

The classical elevation has been given a modern facelift with the addition of contemporary features. The inclusion of considerable storage, zoning for parents and children, intimate entertaining spaces and small designer touches has resulted in a home which will evolve as the family grows.

The layout of the kitchen has been styled on a European look. The Amari’s front porch leads into a big entry hall.

Behind this is the open-plan living area, consisting of dining, living and alfresco areas plus the kitchen.

The kitchen has an island breakfast bar in the centre of the room with drawers on each side. Overhead cupboards are above a long horizontal window, the gas hot plate and more drawers. A clever design touch is the positioning of a full-sized pantry/larder, complete with a workbench and appliance shelving, behind the kitchen and opposite the double sink.

It is next to the laundry which has a walk-in linen cupboard and a glass sliding door to outside.

At the back of the home is the private home office and main suite, which has a sliding glass door to the back garden. The bedroom has a long walk-in robe and the ensuite has a double vanity and glass pivot door shower.

The three children’s bedrooms are at the front of the home with a second bathroom, separate toilet and a computer nook, providing a practical children’s zone.
