This innovative renovation has transformed what was an unexciting standard project home design into a new and innovative double storey residence, with fantastic street appeal. The result has given the owners the extra space they wanted plus an excuse to entertain family and friends at any opportunity.

Second Storey

The once awkward open lounge/dining has been redesigned into a functional reception/study with feature staircase leading to the upper floor.  

The second storey is beautifully presented with a retreat/living area and master suite which includes walk-in-robes and ensuite. With both areas having direct access to the magnificent balcony the owners are able to fully capitalize on sensational ocean views with expansive glazing and sliding doors.

Living Area

The upstairs living area is contemporary and stylish. The striking wooden floors extend up the staircase through to the living area and master bedroom, bringing warmth and style to the area.  With access via sliding doors to the balcony it is perfectly situated to take advantage of sea breezes and long summer nights.

Bedroom

The adjacent master bedroom, like the living area, features a contemporary stylish decor. With double doors opening out onto the living area, sliding glass doors giving direct access to the balcony, twin walk-in-robe’s, large ensuite with separate WC it is the perfect adults retreat. 

Bathroom

The new ensuite is understated yet stylish. Light and bright it features full height tiling, twin recessed basins, expansive bench space, frameless mirror and feature border tiling. A large shower with glass screen sits to the right and a separate WC allows for complete privacy.

This second storey design has been seamlessly continued on from the original home. By retaining the same render and tile colour, it is hard to tell where the new extension starts and finishes leaving you to question if it wasn’t there from day one.
